It was better when my wife was working -- she did medical assisting. If you think being treated by a doctor is bizarre, imagine working with one!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000645807446741254.post-6025107274370409762008-10-28T20:26:00.000-04:002008-10-28T20:26:00.000-04:00Square Peg, I just discovered your blog and glad I...Square Peg, I just discovered your blog and glad I did! Love your humor and wisdom mix.

(Learned of your blog through Lynne's-Musings for the Soul)

I was cracking up as I read your story of your wife's experiences at the teaching university and the lab because it is truly what those of us with chronic illness experience. It is enough to drive one insane unless we keep on finding the humor in it. Obviously you and your wife are good at that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000645807446741254.post-45791932873850865122008-10-27T12:39:00.000-04:002008-10-27T12:39:00.000-04:00Thank you so much for your caring response, lynne....Thank you so much for your caring response, lynne.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000645807446741254.post-25322037417381084992008-10-27T12:22:00.000-04:002008-10-27T12:22:00.000-04:00My heart goes out to your wife. I work with many people who have health conditions (myself included) and dealing with doctors seems almost as traumatic as the illness itself.
Sorry to hear that she is going through such a tough time.
Sending her lots of warm vibes:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1000645807446741254.post-87058096146649656412008-10-25T22:52:00.000-04:002008-10-25T22:52:00.000-04:00Belligerence is not a trait I admire in a pharmaci...Belligerence is not a trait I admire in a pharmacist. I can't imagine anything like this.

I did go to a pharmacy where the PHARMACIST (not a technician) snatched the prescription from my hand, glanced at it, and said belligerently, "What is THIS for?" Uh, shouldn't he know? (In this case, I did know, but I've never had to tell the pharmacy technicians, let alone the pharmacist.)Slywyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01424323662407341123noreply@blogger.com
