Scarecrows and Pumpkins and Mums, Oh My!

It's the last week of August. Labor Day in the USA is eleven days away. And meteorologically speaking, Fall is 24 days away.

So can anyone out there please tell me why the hell farmstands are displaying Scarecrows, Pumpkins and Mums?!?!

    Maybe it's to scare off the santa and reindeer decorations that are trying to come out already.

    I saw a farm stand sign the other day pimping their hardy mums and I asked the same question. For god's sake - summer didn't decide to join us until the beginning of this month. Give me a month at least!!!

    We did get off to a late start this year, didn't we?

    But we'll have gorgeous weather for at least the next two months. I guarantee it, or my name's not Ben Dover. :)
