I took this two years ago when our daughter was still interested in playgrounds:
Yesterday while out for a walk, I came across a rooftop with shadows on it. But alas, I did not have a camera with me. Harriet would've enjoyed the feature, I think.
I love your shadowy snake! Not a big fan of snakes usually, but this one appears friendly! Playgrounds are such great places for finding shadows! Pity about missing out on the rooftop shadow...maybe you'll have a camera handy next time you pass that way. You know how much I love rooftops! And when they're mixed with shadows it's especially exciting! ...ok, nerdy self shooshing now ;D
@Hey Harriet -- I suppose it also looks like the spine of a dinosaur skeleton. That's gotta be better than snakes since they're extinct. I've been bringing my camera along on some of these walks, so I think I can get the shot. There are also great shadows on a bunch of parallel exposed I beams that I think folk will enjoy. Thanks for your comments!

ReplyDeleteThat's an awfully skinny caterpillar there...clever, mysterious shot!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully crisp curvy shadows here!

Seems you had a nice day then. Is that caterpillar?
ReplyDeleteI thought it's clothes hangers §;-)
Silly me...
Enjoy.
It does look like a bunch of clothes hangers. But I think "snake" sounds cooler. :)
