Bridge to the Beyond

Most of humanity tries to huddle in secure domains. Yet there are always those few we call walkers on the edge, or rim. They are searching for a bridge that leads over the river. There are many bridges. Some of these are masked under the name of religion. Yoga is a bridge. Sufism is a bridge. In the end there is only one bridge to follow, and that is the bridge of love. That bridge is the singular way to span into the beyond. Ultimately that is the one that gets us all there. When you experience the unexpected and the unprecedented in your life, follow your heart. I'm on a reading binge, and to fuel that, I'm also back to eating snacks at night to try to stay awake later than I should. Also, last week I drank some coffee. So my appetite is up. I'm surprised I don't weigh more.

While reading Doreen Virtue's Archangels and Ascended Masters, my wife came across several interesting prayers.

"Did you know there's a prayer for lost items?" she asked.

"That's nice," I responded with disinterest.

Undeterred she asked, "Did you ever lose anything?"

"Yeah, my brains."
