My after-supper strategy for snack management is Substitution. Grapes satisfy the desire for Sweets; bland, whole-grain rye crackers (perhaps with almond butter) provide Crunch. These foods are high in carbohydrates, but they're higher in fiber than M&Ms and potato chips, so they don't trigger an even more urgent craving for snacks.
