But I have another habit that might explain why my numbers aren't all dropping. This is the habit of eating while food shopping. I'll find a package of gluten free brownies or cookies on sale, open it and eat while filling my cart with other items to purchase. By the time I get to the cashier, I hand over the empty carton to be scanned, and then the cashier throws it out for me.
It's funny how ingenious we can be in finding ways to sabotage our success.

No kidding. Mine is late night eating. If I cut that out, the rest of my day is fine. It drives me nuts that I continue the same stupid behavior.
Yes, my wife had struggled with late night eating.
If you're tired enough to sleep soon after supper, try brushing your teeth right after supper and then go to bed before the time comes that you get the urge to snack.
Alternatively, you could eat only half your supper at the usual time and then when the urge to snack comes on late at night, finish the remaining half.
