Wednesday Weigh-In 20140403

Yesterday, the exhaust system on my car broke apart. Without the muffler connected to the engine, the noise was incredibly loud, especially driving uphill. Well a gasoline engine works through a cycle of controlled explosions, and the noise I experienced drove that point home. Can you imagine what a city street sounded like in the early days of automobile use, before mufflers became sophisticated? Add "Muffler" to the list of things we take for granted.
